Bob and Billy: The music of Bob Dorough and Billy Strayhorn,

Bob Dorough, is well-known for music for School House Rock, but he wrote many other songs during his long career, collaborating with Miles Davis, Dave Frishberg, Blossom Dearie, Fran Landesman and other prominent jazz musicians.

Billy Strayhorn, partner to Duke Ellington, was a talented pianist, and composer. One of his best known tunes is Lush Life.
